Advanced Dental Care of Sarasota

My husband and I have been going to this same dentist for at least 12 years with the same insurance., today I went for my 6 month cleaning and I asked why I’m being charged for cleaning, they came back saying I was not in there system.. I left, something is not right with this place! I’d have to pay… I called the insurance company they said we are in their system. So they would call me back once they hear back from them. I don’t know what’s going on with this office. It has gone downhill…. Since Dr. Levette left. So people make sure you check that your insurance is in their computer.

Made a first time appointment online for my elderly mother - over the weekend - for Monday, May 8 at 11am. Arrived to find the door locked. I knocked on the door, the new receptionist answered and said to walk down to "the other office", which turned out to be Aspire Dental! Then the receptionist said that my mother's name wasn't even in the computer as a new patient! After I spent more than a half-hour entering my mom's details and submitted them online. There was no email to confirm, nothing. On top of all this, they don't even answer the phone! I ask you: is this the way to do business?!

Have been a patient here for quite a while and let me say, Mistie the hygienist is wonderful but as of late their services have gone horribly wrong. On February 1st I paid for an Immediate one tooth partial, was told it would take 3 weeks then we would schedule the tooth removal and the Immediate partial would be put in. It has now been 3 months!! I was scheduled for appointment Friday April 21, was there but they could NOT find the partial. Very frustrated and they really don't seem to care!
