Apple Valley Dental & Braces

I have always had dental insurance through an employer. I currently have State insurance. The staff was friendly although the tech that was doing my xrays changed techs when there was only one xray left because "someone needed a filling." Just finish, and I don't need to know the logistics. The dentist was courteous and actually told me something about the sensitivity in my tooth that I was not aware of. My attempt to establish regular care was not satisfied. I am used to having all of my dental work done at one place. As a result of my visit today I have two referrals to two different places. One to clean my teeth, and one to deal with the tooth sensitivity. Although I appreciate the effort, my needs were not met, and I will not be returning. I had to pee so bad, and there was only 1 working "public bathroom" according to the receptionist.

I have been told by many how terrible this place is and I didn't believe it until i experienced it myself. My 2 year old waited a month to get some mouth work done then they switched her appt for 2 more months out without notifying me. The excuse they gave me for switching it was "the dentist didn't want to do general anesthesia that day" when i asked to speak to someone from the market clinic where i scheduled the staff member at that clinic refused to speak to me. I have since found a new dentist and would highly suggest everyone else does the same.

I’ve been here 3 days this week and every time was a great experience, the dentists are amazing and so kind, super knowledgeable and explanatory. The dental assistants are all kind and do a great job at keeping you comfortable and having a conversation while you wait for your work to be done. The fillings have all been really quick and they don’t make me use the little mouth opener thing which my small jaw appreciates. I actually don’t think I’ve ever been more comfortable at a dental office than I am when I come here, I went to the Division location 2 years ago and also had a good experience but I much prefer the market location because of the people that work here, the ladies at the front desk are very kind and helpful, my daughter came along with me for two appointments and sat in the waiting room with my husband, she asked the front desk ladies so many questions and told her whole life story to them and they were so wonderful and accommodating to my very social 5 year old.
