Aspen Dental - Knoxville, TN

I had a great experience today at Aspen Dental on Kingston Pike in Knoxville. I typically hate going to the dentist, but everyone who worked with me at this office was beyond excellent, and I feel confident I received the best care at the best price. Would definitely recommend.

Get a second opinion! $12,878.00 was going to be my bill for the extensive work needing to be done. I get a second opinion and I’m so happy I did because I don’t have gingivitis like they claimed and they are not affordable as they claim. The girl going over the bill was very loud and short tempered, my husband asked if we could go into a private office so everyone in building didn’t hear our conversation on what they claimed needed to be done. Won’t be going back.

Went in for a routine cleaning and was told I needed to have several fillings redone. Should have gotten a second opinion, but scheduled the fillings anyway. Went back for the filling appt and was the first patient that day. Was greeted by the dentist “KP” who didn’t even know what he was going to be doing until he asked the dental assistants right in front of me. Everyone was joking around getting ready for the day like I wasn’t even in the room. The filling began after checking if I was numb, yet I immediately felt the sensitivity from the drill so he had to give me another shot of novocaine… as the assistant walks by checking to see if she numbed me up well and they gave her a thumbs up? Seemed like it was her first time numbing someone by the way she asked. The rest of the filling was an awful experience. Water dripping down my face, KP saying “oopsie made a boo boo”, chit chat about how it’s his “first day back” to work. Completely unprofessional and not what a patient wants to he
