Bar And Smith Dental

Great dentist, horrible front desk secretaries. Overall the actual dental work I received from Bar and Smith was great. However, the customer service from front desk staff was not. I took off work early to come 30min early for my appointment. Upon arriving the front desk notified me I had canceled my appointment reporting “patient no longer lives in New York” which was absolutely wrong (I am a proud resident of Mount Vernon, NY) and that I called to cancel my appointment. In response, I confirmed my family members future upcoming appointments to demonstrate the obvious…..that we still live in NY and explained I never called to cancel my appointment. As I was trying to better understand the situation and troubleshoot the potential errors that happened on my previous phone interaction, the front desk worker (date of incident 8/4 @1:30pm) rudely interrupted me by saying in a semi raised voice…”but I thought you said you never spoke to anyone”…..insinuating I was making up a story, or simp

Amazing Doctor! A true professional, compassionate, and moderate doctor - hard to find! It’s about individual health & circumstances, not just about procedure$$$ here. How it should be. Bonus : very gentle hands here. I am not sensitive or squeamish at dentists, however I noticed how gentle, pro active and patient he was during exam and their style was thoughtfully orchestrated and comfortable! A true Pro over the chair and excellent positive chair side manner. My procedures went smoothly and I healed perfectly and ahead of time. I know it’s part skill and excellent post treatment advice. What a relief to find this practice! Front desk so gracious & efficient as well- thank you all!
