As someone new in town, Dr Kim and his staff have been very welcoming and knowledgeable. They were able to smoothly transition records over, and even correct the work of my previous provider without issue and additional cost. An overall great experience.

The service here from front to back is amazing! The front desk staff was so nice and made scheduling so easy. My dental hygienist was super gentle and friendly! Dr. Kim was thorough, kind but also funny! I had some work done and they walked me through the whole process and it was painless. I don’t plan on changing dental offices anytime soon!

TLDR: I almost got talked into paying $1500 for a procedure I didn’t actually need… Okay here it goes: So during my first and last visit to Bridge City Smiles, I was informed of a “large crack” in one of my molars, and told that because there was already a filling in place, a crown was the only option to fix it. They were very firm on this despite the fact I said that it had never caused me any discomfort and not to mention would be difficult for me to come up with the $1500 to cover their cost of a crown out of pocket due to the fact I work in the service industry and am currently living paycheck to paycheck, like many others in this city. Well it turned out to be a blessing in disguise when Bridge City decided abruptly they were no longer accepting OHP, because I left that office and got a second opinion. My new dentist took one look and said it appeared likely to be a small, superficial fracture and recommended just replacing the filling to start, which could in turn fix the crack.
