I went to today to get a crown. Dr. Lee and Patrice are a great team. I appreciated their bedside manner, professionalism and friendliness. They both explained and described what to expect and what steps were going to be done which helped me feel calm. They were gentle and made sure I didn’t feel discomfort. I appreciated their sense of humor and making me laugh. The front office administration were friendly, professional and efficient. I recommend this office to anyone who asks for a dentist.

I recently got a crown at Carlson dental based on their recommendation that it was needed. My insurance company denied the claim because the evidence submitted by Carlson did not indicate that a crown was actually needed. Carlson resubmitted the claim but it was denied a second time. I subsequently called the Carlson office and they were unwilling to push back on the insurance company and I would need to pay the $400 balance that insurance would have covered out-of-pocket. It is frustrating to me that they were unwilling to push back because it makes me feel like I either received a crown that I did not need (which has been painful tooth much of the time since but never gave me problems before) or at a minimum they are not willing to stand behind their work, indicating a lack professional integrity. If the amount was not so small I would consider legal action. I really liked my hygienist though!
