Castle Dental & Orthodontics

DON'T BOTHER: This location doesn't have a dental hygienist. I went to them last year for a check-up/cleaning and then had to schedule out a few months for a periodontal maintenance. I was supposed to have something like 3-4 sessions, but they were never able to schedule out very far because it was difficult for them to get a hygienist, so I would have to call back. After 1 or 2 sessions I realized it had been a very long time my last session... no calls to schedule! So I called them today (months and months later) and they said: "that was because we STILL do not have a hygienist." WTH? And they were not able to schedule me even now. They suggested I go to another location. Another location?? Sure, Castle Dental has many locations one can try... but they're really all SEPARATE offices and you'd have to start ALL OVER AGAIN with an exam with a new dentist and come up with another plan of action and they hope they are able to keep their hygienist on staff/contract/schedule. So, I ask:

I went in for a root canal about two months ago, and scheduled a fast follow to get a crown. They cancelled on me twice stating they didn’t have a dentist. Then, months later, I finally was able to reschedule and on my way there, they texted me that the dentist was sick. I’ve tried to call to reschedule AGAIN about 6 times with no answer. The treated tooth has started to hurt and now I likely have an infection because I haven’t been able to get a crown. This location is incredibly sketchy and unreliable and are causing more problems to my teeth than fixes. UPDATE: Still haven't answered, drove to the office at 10am on a Monday and they weren't even open. Adding photo in front of the office for irony...

While my experience at this castle dental was good yesterday, since they didn't have a hygienist on staff they were unable to do a cleaning. They got a couple dozen xray images of my teeth, and that was done well and it took about an hour, which is how much time I expect a dental visit to take. But, I imagine that if they are ever able to schedule me for a cleaning, they will charge me another co-pay for the next visit, which I would rather have avoided by getting all the things done in a single visit.
