Coastal Kids Dental & Braces - Summerville

The dental tech was very knowledgeable and polite. Actually everyone was very polite. I enjoy bringing my granddaughter there because I have yet to have a bad experience. Kudos!

My son has anxiety when it comes to dentist or doctors and he showed it big time when we went for a traditional cleaning. They were so patient with him and reinsured him what was going on and what the next steps was and even the X-ray tech he was so incredibly sweet to my son and me. I went to coastal kids as a teen and now my son goes there and I just will never ever take him any where else.

Most of the staff and doctors here are pretty great. They are very attentive to your children Most importantly, make them feel comfort. However, the last few times I’ve been there I have had some horrible experiences. My son had a pretty Big cavity, The doctor said that it’s not that bad of a cavity just large , Even though my son was complaining of pain. The hole is huge and the doctor at the time said that they wanted to take care of that cavity as quickly as they can so it doesn’t get any worse and so he wouldn’t need a possible root canal if it did get worse. I go up to the reception area and they made us an appointment which was over a month and a half after we were seen. I asked if this was common practice to make a child wait that long when the doctor is saying that they wanted to fill that cavity as soon as they can, so it doesn’t get any worse. The receptionist said yes, and we made the appointment. Three days before his scheduled appointment he was complaining once again of h
