Creve Coeur Dentistry and Orthodontics

This organization does not know what they are doing. They scheduled me months in advance for an appointment, sent out multiple reminders, called to confirm my insurance and then literally as I'm driving in to the appointment (on a day I asked off work for this reason) they call to tell me that they mischeduled me and cannot provide the service that had been scheduled. I was weary booking with them due to their low ratings and now I understand why.

Total rip-off. We have aetna dental plan, and they said on the phone they take the plan. They didn’t tell us the price before doing x ray. The first person who did the x ray was very kind and nice, as well as the dentist. X ray was explained as a necessary process and covered by insurance or otherwise free. But later, the front desk person said, staff inside doesn’t know anything about finance or insurance, and voila, it still costs $150 with the discount plan. Second appointment, a full mouth cleaning is over $1,000. Really? They break down the cost to many small expenses so that it doesn’t look expensive, but in the end, you end up with a larger bill than expected.

the orthodontist is great, the front office BA’s could be nicer and know more about how things are run in the dental field. I called to have rubber bands shipped to me and she told me “that’s not how we run things here.” after i was told SPECIFICALLY by the doctor and the DA that they can do that OR i can come pick them up. considering i live over an hr away. the front office BA Tessa was rude and unprofessional.
