Dayton Comprehensive Dentistry

I am in a training program for work with firm hours and DCD bent over backwards to accommodate my schedule and worked me in for a Saturday when was having a pain issue with a tooth. They also worked me in for my six month check up at the same time. I really appreciate this.

If I could give a lower rating, I would. The dentist wonderful. Her scheduling/billing staff are rude and not very customer friendly. I had a family emergency, and called first thing that morning to tell them I needed to cancel my appt that afternoon and needed to reschedule for another day. The lady that answered huffed and said just a minute, I'll have to give to someone else and let the hygienist know. The next lady came on and asked in a snarky tone, "You're canceling today?" I told her yes that I have a family emergency and need to reschedule. Her next comment was, "Fine. That's a $50 charge for canceling same day" You need to pay that before I can reschedule you." I told her I understood. I was willing to pay the $50. But she continued to berate me for canceling the same day. Finally I told her to forget rescheduling that I would never be back if this is how you treat patients. Her response was ok by me. I continue to get emails reminding to schedule with them. Side note. I just had a routine cleaning done. The staff and facility on Burkhart is wonderful. I'm really glad that I found this dentist. I was so tired of dealing with one of the big national chains.
