Dental Associates

Normally we have a good experience here. My son’s have been patients for over 11 years. Both have regular cleanings and orthodontic work. But, today my son’s appointment ended in a uncomfortable way. I was brought to a desk to schedule his next appointment and told they first needed to close out the appointment. They seemed to be having an issue, either on their end or the insurance. After several minutes I said I needed to get to work. I was told they needed to close out appointment. After several more minutes I once again said I needed to leave for work. Again I was told that they needed to close out the appointment. I was literally being held hostage. If there was an issue, why not work on it and let me leave??? I understand that they want their payment but, you could bill me. Finally I was told I could go because as they said at the start I have diamond insurance. So, I owed nothing yet I had to sit there while they worked on a issue that had nothing to do with me. I had to rush o

Normally go to the Beerline location of this place but decided to give this location a try. My hygienist was the only saving grace of this visit— felt honestly dehumanized and patronized throughout my whole dental exam and was left with more questions that when I came in and was just given a referral for a periodontist for a gum graft (which is probably anxiety-provoking for many people?) with hardly any tact. Honestly one of the worst experiences in a long time :(

I've been going to Dental Associates for years and loved it's Customer Service. However, I had a horrible experience when I called to make an appointment. The woman that I was speaking with asked me if I had "state" insurance versus "What kind of insurance. " I have insurance through my job and I was highly offended by her lack of professionalism!!!!!
