Dental Smiles of West Loop

Dr. Shah and her staff are awesome! I really appreciate how cognizant the staff is of their patients' schedule/time. If a patient schedules an appointment for 2pm, the doctor actually sees you at 2pm. The staff took extra time to sort out a discrepancy with my insurance company after my employer switched providers. Dr. Shah is a true professional. She takes time to explain her patients' treatment, she is sensitive to any discomfort a patient may be experiencing and seems to genuinely care about patients. After a bad experience with a dentist located in downtown Chicago, I hadn't seen a dentist in four years. About a year ago, I lost a crown and visited Dental Smiles. Dr. Shah saw me immediately. I was so impressed by the service that I returned several times to have two cavities filled, a teeth cleaning and a check-up. I highly recommend Dental Smiles to everyone.

Upon walking in, the receptionist, Theresa, was phenomenal! She was very communicative about what to expect and paying for services. The dental hygienist was super personable and very sweet! Dr. Shah was absolutely incredible! She was extremely thorough and very blunt, but in an appreciative way. She leveled with me on how we were going to proceed. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. The office was very clean and they were as efficient as they could be, even when their system was down! 10/10 recommend!!

Maybe she just didn’t like me, but I found she had no bedside manner. She was pressuring me to get adult braces on my bottom teeth and when I explained my childhood dentist told my parents it was optional (because my teeth aren’t that bad, and it’s just the bottom that would need minor re-aligning) her response was “Are you kidding? Just look at them!” Really rude all around, I switched to Dentologie afterwards!
