I was a long time patient and called to reschedule an appointment. The business manager took my call and was incredibly condescending and rude to me. Very disappointed. Instead of rescheduling, I asked her to send my records over and I would find a new dentist. She responded by telling me to have a “best rest of my day.” She didn’t seem to care one bit that a long time patient was leaving their practice. I guess she doesn’t understand that having patients is how the practice stays in business. You would think the “business manager” would have a better understanding.

I scheduled an exam with Dr. Qi since it’s required for a cleaning, and I was expecting that I’d have to come back at a later date for the cleaning, but nope! She did my exam, a cleaning, AND treated a cavity that she found ALL at once! Not only was that unexpected and super convenient, she was also ridiculously nice! The assistant was also extremely interactive and friendly. And when I told her my past negative experience with numbing shots, she was very receptive and only gave me a small amount after numbing it first with gel. Getting the cavity fixed was painless and very quick. She also told me to let her know if I needed the filling resin to be shaved down for any reason. I have the high plan BCBS insurance, and it came out to about $50, which was awesome. If you’re going to see anyone, I definitely recommend Dr. Qi. Probably the most pleasant experience I’ve had at a dentist’s office!

I’ve been going to DentalWorks for a long time. Post COVID, this is my first time back at this location. Few things to say here: 1) Their systems DO NOT talk to one another. Don’t expect to jump locations with insurance or basic information being shared. I switched to the Tinley Park location out of convenience. 2) This location is extremely rude & unprofessional. My dental hygienist was a joy, BUT THE RECEPTIONIST/BUSINESS MANGER was the rudest person! She single handily ruined my experience. I arrived ON TIME at 8:55AM for my 9AM appointment. She alongside her co-workers were kiking in the back until 9:15AM. She comes out to provide me paperwork although I’ve been a customer for 10+ years, so I was confused having came from the Tinley Park location to this location for X-rays & a cleaning due to the dental hygienist at Tinley Park being on maternity leave.
