We all know race and racism are embedded in all aspects of business. I remain unapologetically and outspoken about the issue. It has proven to be a known fact that if you are a certain race you will not have the same access and opportunity as other races. So let me be honest about the issues I have encountered with this dental office. As a 100% P&T disabled veteran I had encountered a previous problem for scheduling an appointment. Therefore, a MSA from the VA Community (CC) Care Program coordinated the appointment. I will say she went above and beyond her duties so I am thankful for her assistance. The nightmare in the daytime began when I arrived for the appointment. The employee did not know that the business was listed by two names. To make matters worse I was told ONCE again I was not listed for an appointment. CC had just sent over the information from the VA a week earlier. I work in the healthcare field and feel that this clinic needs significant improvement. 1.) Professionalism: I was told that fluoride would cost me $x out of pocket and agreed to that amount. However, at check-out the front desk person told me it was actually $7 more than that. There was no apology or sense of ownership for that mistake, and I was simply expected to pay up. 2.) Clarity of treatment recommendations: I was told that I needed an immediate root canal as well as crowns on multiple teeth, but I received very minimal explanations for those specific treatments (risks/benefits/alternatives) and their timing (possibility of monitoring, necessity/priority of procedures). I later went to another dentist who reviewed my X-rays and took the time to explain the reasons for particular areas of concern, and who ultimately essentially disagreed with all their recommendations. Please be careful. I would not recommend this clinic.

Dr Dallas clearly loves what he does and enjoys taking the time to educate his patients. Have learned more during four appointments with him than the dozens of dental appointments I previously had over the decades. I highly recommend him.
