Dermody Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics was a pleasure to visit from the moment we walked in. We were greeted kindly and all staff in the front made a point to say hello. My child is autistic/adhd and I informed the staff prior on his paperwork. The waiting room was clean and had a cute area set up for the kids with toys and activities along with a cute tent! I noticed another child come in while we were waiting and the child had specific needs as well and they quickly took the child back since the child needed specific sensory and emotional needs which required sooner care than my child was exhibiting. I was impressed with how kind the staff was to those on the spectrum and was happy to see them help children avoid full blown meltdowns by assessing and aiding in their needs as quickly as possible. We were seen quickly and the dental hygienist who cleaned my child's teeth was sweet and funny and kept my child informed and engaged while she worked. During a harder time, when my child

I took my son who has autism there today thinking they would not be able to do anything on him, but everyone was wonderful and Dr. Rachel was exceptional. They knew just what to do to calm him down and everyone was so nice! Thank you ladies for helping my little boy! You’re awesome
