Dr. Lewis Gross Holistic Dentist

I chose Dr. Verma based on her high ratings and the fact that she was labeled as in-network for my dental insurance on ZocDoc. I followed up via email with the dentist office to confirm that they were in fact in-network and when I arrived they called my insurance company and told me "Yup you're good to go!". The Dentist herself was extremely nice and helpful and I had a good experience until I went to pay and was told that actually I was "out of network but approved" and therefore had a copay of $150, which is an exorbitant fee and since it was just a cleaning it would have been completely covered by my insurance. When I told them this, and walked them through the emails I had sent and shared how upset I was and that I would have not followed through with the appointment had I known they were out of network, they still charged me. Therefore, I had a horrible experience here and would never return.

Dr. Lewis Gross is Not as competent as Touted to be. just a mediocre dentist who is tachy about payments. I had a filling there that fell after 6 months ! Also i had a wrongly done gum countouring on my front tooth. When you are at this clinic you feel it is ordinary and not holistic at all. I went to vietnam last year and had everything fixed up like a charm at WestCoast dental clinic in Saigon for $7000. $10,000 less than what would have been estimated here for a cheaped out clinical labor & dental material. Lucky i found out & knew about them before starting with this careless dentist who lacks insight & vision into good quality dentistry. When you are at this dentist you are unknowingly paying high prices for his office rent + loosing money with His questionable competence.

I went to Dr. Lewis Gross years ago to replace two mercury amalgams with ceramic fillings. He first put two temporary fillings which felt fine, but when it was time to replace those with the permanent ceramic fillings, he shaved the tops off my natural teeth off, leaving my bite completely changed and in a lot of pain, as my molars on one side did not touch anymore, and the canines were pounding on each other. I had to go to 3 dentists and have 4 dentist appointments to get that fixed. The error was so blantant, that I am surprised he has any positive review. If you are looking for a truly holistic dentist, I recoment Dr. Martha Cortés.
