East Village Dental Centre

This has been my dentist for 3 years now and I have no plans on leaving! My first visit was an emergency visit after my old dentist blew off severe tooth pain as nothing since they couldn’t find the source. I called into East Village the next day since it was the closest dentist to my house. They squeezed me in and found an infected tooth that required a root canal! East village was able to catch the issue, treat it, and save the tooth. They’re extremely transparent with all of their services. They take pictures before, during, and after all treatments (including cleanings). Then they show you them on a big screen. I know I’m never having anything done that isn’t needed. Most recently they used the photos to help me visualize how to clean around my braces more effectively. Even after moving to the north side, I still take the Ashland bus down because I know I can trust everyone at East Village to take care of me.

So incredibly thankful for this place. I had pain that I saw another dentist for who did nothing. The pain progressed and got so severe I could not sleep and was in almost tears. I called on a Friday evening desperate for treatment and this place got me in right away Saturday morning. Everyone was so professional and the dentist was amazing. They did a thorough exam and explained everything in detail. I needed a root canal which was what I was expecting for the amount of pain I was in. The root canal procedure itself was painless and I just had that feeling that I was in good hands and being taken care of well while I was there. I’m so grateful for finally finding a professional dentist who knows what they’re actually doing.

I moved to Chicago a little over a year ago and I found East Village Dental Centre after a TON of research to find a dentist who has new technology, understands dental anxiety, etc. The website for East Village Dental Centre is why I ended up calling as they checked all of the boxes of understanding anxieties, having new technology, being able to read the doctors history, getting patients in quickly instead of waiting several weeks. I am beyond grateful that I found East Village Dental Centre because the staff, nurses, assistants, dentist are so, so amazing. I have severe dental anxiety and they are patient, calming, understanding, reassuring--felt like I've been coming to this practice for years even though I came to them just a couple days ago.
