I wish I could give them 10 stars! Everyone was amazing. Procedure was done fast, painless. Super recommend! They are better than my regular dentist, for sure!!! Thank you for a flawless appointment.
I knew I needed to see a dentist and had been stressing over finding “the best” one. Today, a Saturday, the pain was so severe I knew that I could not wait much longer, so I selected a dentist from my insurance network and made an appointment. As the day went on the pain continued to get worse so I went to Emergency Dental Care in Seattle to see if I could get some pain medication to get me through the next couple of days until my other appointment. Dr. Atwood’s assistant, Sara, asked thorough questions and took x-rays that revealed a cracked molar. Dr. Atwood said it could not be saved and told me that it needed to be extracted. Now? I asked. If you’re ready, yes. And so he did. I don’t really know how “the best” dentist could be determined, but I can say that on this visit both Sara and Dr. Atwood were awesome—I could not image anyone else doing a better job.
Waste of time. Booked my appointment without collecting insurance information just to find out at my appointment I was out of network and would have to pay out of pocket. If you're an emergency clinic you should accept all forms of insurance. It feels extremely predatory to book an appointment in this manner. I also waited in the lobby for almost an hour with no receptionist and as soon as the receptionist got back from break it was within 5 minutes of them being back that we discovered that my insurance was out of network. So over an hour of my life wasted when all of this could have been handled on the initial phone call and I would have had plenty of time earlier in my day to book an appointment with a dentist that actually accepted my insurance. Now it is 5:00 everything is closed and I have to wait an entire day just to get inquiries about other dentists. Which once again makes me feel like this was extremely predatory and they were just trying to force me to pay out of pocket bec
