It's a great meeting place for San Diego seniors: They offer counseling, help finding affordable living guarters; have a dental center ( appts. only) and can help seniors deal with other medical issues. They offer free breakfast and lunch ,have a small gaming center, a computer center, a large gathering room where movies are shown on a large screen television and myriad other recreational and educational opportunities for San Diego's senior community ( Open from 8:00am to 4:00 pm ). I just called the center to check insurance information. They said the do not take HMO's. This is a major barrier to treating their target population. I would like them to post the "type" of insurance they do take.

This is my first Google review. I decided for this year to finally address the truth of business so as to warn others. I do not write this lightly, it saddens me, but people have a right to know. I contacted this center via email after reading their "mission" statement and watching the many "feel-good" videos they have on their website about people they've helped who had Denti-cal or No money to pay. Their website states: "Our goal is to ensure our senior patients achieve and maintain long-term oral health, regardless of their ability to pay for services" BULL! I have Medicare/Medical and it pays $4,000 and they WOULD NOT accept it! Their website posts about the dangers of bacteria from tooth decay, and how it is dangerous as it can get into the blood and infect the body.
