Great Expressions Dental Centers - Decatur

All of the professional were great. The doctor did a great job. But it is impossible to get anyone from the office to call back when I'm having a problem. Please get a better system. I've called a few times about tooth pain and can't reach anyone. I need to be seen soon.

I had a crown done here that I believe wouldn’t stay in because the dentist wanted to do an implant and I didn’t want one so my actual tooth got shaved down way too small. I had a crown before that lasted over 20 years, came here, now it wouldn’t even last a year. Maybe they’re good with cleaning and preventative, but I’m not recommending them for anything invasive. Also had a procedure done that they said was covered on my insurance then they came back and said it wasn’t, of course after the procedure had already been done. Last but not least, the customer service, specifically when calling is the worst I’ve ever experienced calling a doctor or dentist office. They don’t answer the phones like they’re dodging creditors or something.

UPDATE: this is the email reply you get if you email them as they request in response to complaints: "Thank you for reaching out to Patient Services! Due to the abundance of requests we receive, response times may vary. Please see below for average response times. Generic Request: 1 – 3 days Complaints: 1 – 30 days Records Requests: 1 – 30 days Billing Complaints/Audits: 30 – 90 days Appointment Inquiries/requests: Your request will be forwarded to the office, and they will contact you. In order to expedite your appointment request, please contact the office." As you can see they are in no rush to address complaints, and you could wait MONTHS for billing resolution. Beware. ORINGIAL REVIEW: Waited 15 min to be acknowledged at the desk and another 30 min in the waiting room. Staff is apathetic at best. Never did see a hygienist or a dentist. Waste of time and parking money. Won’t be back, don’t recommend.
