Great Expressions Dental Centers - Sarasota

The staff at this location is extremely rude and unprofessional. Their behavior is very unwelcoming and they act as if you’re in inconvenience to them. I have tried calling many times to schedule an appointment and/or request information and they never answer the phone. I have called multiple times back to back and when they finally pick up they just hang up right away. The place is not kept up with and they book your appointment but you still have to wait 30+ min after checking in. Not to mention you’re not allowed to go back with your child who is a minor. I’ll never understand that and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

WARNING DO NOT TAKE YOUR MINOR CHILDREN HERE. Today I took my 8-year son for an ortho consultation. From the moment I walked in I did not have a good experience. First, the women at the front desk are NOT welcoming whatsoever. Second, they had me down for the WRONG type of appointment. Third, which is the most concerning is at first, they would not let me go to the back with my child. After I explained to the assistant, I was not letting my child go to the back without me, she put me in a room in the back. While standing in the room, I was peaking my head out to look at my son. Moments later another assistant walked over to me and told me I had to sit down in the room because they needed to keep the hallway clear. I let her know that I was standing in the room and in no way blocking the hallway. Let me add that there was a dentist working on another child and he was the one who told the assistant to tell me this. UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISTURBING. What is the secrecy here? This left me fe

Zero stars if that was an option. We’ve been to both the UTC pediatric office and the one off 70. The staff is nice but expect a long wait. They called me to cancel multiple appointments and they have no urgency to get them rescheduled. They will not answer the phone to request a new appointment the VM box is full. Avoid this chain dental practice
