Greater Washington Endodontics

I went to this office for a consultation. I told them I had pain in two teeth and that I was worried I may need a root canal for both. When I arrived, they gave me two CBCT scans first without any oral examination, nor any discussion of the cost or treatment plans. I spoke to the doctor for all of 15 minutes. They then told me that each of the scans cost $490 and were not covered by insurance, so my consultation cost me nearly $1000 out of pocket to receive no work. I ended up going to another clinic for my treatment. Their CBCT scans are $199 (they kindly waived the cost since I brought my previous scans with me). They also showed me the estimates for what I would be paying for versus what insurance would cover prior to performing any scans or work. That's how an ethical office should operate. I felt taken advantage of and was greatly disappointed in Greater Washington Endodontics.

I had a great visit and the Dentist was super cool and fast working. Will definitely come here again if I need work done!

This place is awful. They are unethical and do things and bill things out of term that are not necessary so the doctor can cash in on patients. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had insurance fraud going on.
