I chose this dentist office after finding it on yelp and looking at the reviews and I’ve been overly satisfied for the last 4-5 years! My teeth have become extremely sensitive with age, without any relief from toothpaste or any topical solutions and applications. Regular cleanings can be excruciating if the hygienist isn’t experienced and uses the wrong tools. And I did have that terrible experience when I used to live in the Bay Area. But after I moved back here, I found Dr. Nguyen and his hygienist Karen, who I always look forward to seeing when I come for my cleanings. The dental assistants and front office staff are very transparent and even offer advice about the best ways to afford what your insurance won’t cover. I never feel trapped into doing any procedure, exam, or imaging that I can’t afford. Karen is such a kind and caring person and she always brainstorms ways to provide relief for my sensitivity before surgical intervention. And on top of all of that, she ALWAYS remembers

I had a Teeth cleaning with hygienist Bertie today and have to admit that it was the worst cleaning treatment in my life. I had to stop it since she was far from gentle plus I came to conclusion that although she was wearing glasses, she didn't see what she was doing in my mouth, instead polishing teeth she was polishing my gums, causing pain and broken skin. I have sore mouth now. She is pleasant to talk to but her work is a different story. Very, very disappointed.

I hadn't been to the dentist in quite a while and decided to give Dr. Nyugen a shot as he had good reviews on several websites. I called, made an appointment, and was treated very well as soon as I walked in the door. The staff is very courteous and cheerful and will do their best to make you feel like you want to be there! The techs who cleaned my teeth and took x-rays were polite and helpful, making small talk when appropriate and explaining everything they were doing every step of the way. Their techniques are very patient friendly in that they do what they can to minimize the pain people usually feel when sharp tools are being forced into their mouths. Going to the dentist is usually an excruciating experience, but for the first time since I was a little kid I'm actually looking forward to my next visit here.
