Ideal Dental South Lamar

Great experience everyone was so kind and helpful! I went in for a wisdom teeth removal because I’ve been having pain for the past week, my last dentist seemed unconcerned of how bad my pain was when I went the day before to see what was wrong and I would have to wait a week until the oral surgeon would go in and I always had insurance issues. That same day I went home looked up Ideal Dental and Alan helped me out with my insurance and was quick about it and got my wisdom teeth removed the very next day! while my old dentist took them a full day to get back with me if I still wanted to continue with my procedure and had referrals for me but it was too late because I just had my wisdom teeth done! That’s how quick I got taken care of! The oral surgeon was very welcoming and kind got in and out in 45 mins! I will be coming back for my regular checkups now! :)

The staff was welcoming and everyone explained exactly what they were doing before the procedure. There was also an explanation of what my insurance would cover and what the plan was for taking care of my needed procedures. They made me feel confident about going to the dentist.

I never write reviews but felt obligated to due so in case other people in my situation read this. I was seen by a young dentist who recommended an extensive, high cost treatment plan. I got a second opinion from a more established family dentist who called bogus on the majority of what Ideal had recommended. This is a private equity owned chain (google it) whose bottom line is revenue, NOT helping the patient. Please beware of this!
