Judy Chen DDS

Dr. Judy Chen and Jo-Jo were absolutely amazing. The amazing-ness extends to the rest of the office staff. This was my first root canal and I was not as honest to the office staff (about how nervous/anxious I was) as I should have been. My initial phone call, evaluation, root canal procedure, exit, and even follow-up call were fantastic. Dr. Chen and Jo-Jo have gentle hands. They were honest and comforting at the same time. The next day, I completely forgot that I had a root canal done until I received a follow-up phone call from the office. I worked as an RDA for 13 years and am pretty familiar with chairside care in a dental office. Dr. Chen and Jo-Jo went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable throughout the procedure. If there were an option to give more than 5 stars, I would give them at least 100! If you need endodontic work done, give Dr. Chen's office a call and put all of your concerns and anxiety at ease.

In addition to be a specialist, Dr. Judy Chen is also a good leader and manager. She has skill to make the customer feels like they are in their own home, comfortable and valuable. Her entire staff has adapted the same positive behavior toward the customers. Keep up the good work Dr Chen and staff.

So when your dentist tells you need a root canal and sends you to an endodontist, you probably don't immediately cheer. But if you are lucky enough to be referred to Dr. Chen, feel free to at least give a quiet fist pump because she is amazing. I had a front tooth with an older veneer that needed a root canal from that one time I fell off a skateboard in 1979. It was a bit tricky because the infection was old and very high up and there was a risk that the older veneer could come off. Dr. Chen explained everything up front, including the risks, and then got to work. Her anesthesia skills were awesome. I didn't feel a thing. It hurt afterwards which seems reasonable given the amount of work they had to do, but she had provided a reasonable number of rx pain relievers and it actually hurt a lot less than I expected it to. Everyone in the office was so nice and Dr. Chen and her staff have a nice sense of humor which keeps everything comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Chen and team if you
