Kozica Dental

The dental hygienist was wonderful as always, and I’ve had previous positive encounters with Dr Kozica but at my most recent appointment, he was incredibly rude and hurtful. I have a chronic condition, which he has long been aware of and the complications it can present, and on report out he said snarkily, “it’s always something with you,” as if I choose to consistently deal with health issues. He proceeded to be incredibly and unnecessarily condescending. Honestly, in spite of seeing him for some time now, it has made me question whether or not I should seek a new dentist because the last thing I need to deal with is another doctor belittling me and shaming me for health issues that in spite of my very best effort, continue to plague me.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kozica and his wonderful staff. I've been a patient of his for about 3 years now. The office is always impeccably clean, the staff is ALWAYS so friendly & professional and Dr. Kozica's work is top notch. I always walk in with anxiety (due to childhood trauma from dental visits) but I have to say, everyone there goes above & beyond to minimize my anxiety and not once has my visit been dreadful. I love them! Thank you Dr. Kozica & staff!

I want to preface with the fact that I have severe dental anxiety due to a difficult experience as a child. There has been many of times in the past where I felt completely uncomfortable and walked right out of a dental visit out of panic. Apart from my anxiety, my teeth have never been great to me with cavities no matter how well I brush and floss. Dr.Kozica numbed me SO well, and spent time to explain each step of the process as we went. He let me know that if I ever needed a break just to raise my hand. It was such a calm experience, I don’t feel as anxious anymore for my next filling appointment. I will recommend the office to everyone looking for a dentist as it really was a wonderful experience with both him and his assistant. Even the front desk admin is so sweet when I come in – despite it being 5pm!! My experience was a 10/10 !
