I have been referred to see Dr Lyudmila Kuznetsova for root canal treatment by my dentist. My root canal needed to be done by endodontic doctor with the use of miscroscope, and that is why I was referred to Dr Kuznetsova. The service was excellent. Dr Kuznetsova called me herself before appointment and asked me in details about my tooth problem. She set up the appointment, called me the day before to make sure that I know where I was going, and told me approximate price of my treatment and my copay. Her office, which is located in the Center City of Philadelphia, is nice and clean with the newest equipment (3D scanner, microscope, etc). Great view of center city skyscrapers through the office window from the dental chair makes you forget that you are in the dental office. She took couple x-rays and carefully examined my tooth. I had a root canal done in two separate visits. I had a difficult bendy 4 root molar that took extensive drilling and I didn't feel any pain either time. Even the novocaine went in smoothly and pain free. I had no nitrous and drifted off to sleep several times because I was determined to put myself in a chill state of mind because the thought of a root canal was freaking me out. So it was a double payoff since he worked diligently and I just relaxed in the chair. With Dr. Valencia's light touch and his excellent staff I was able to actually enjoy my quiet time away from a noisy household and all pain free. Today's the day after and I am pain free without any nsaid's. Lastly, his explanations of what was happening and what was to be expected was exceptionally well recieved. He went out of the way to explain the minute details and I appreciate that since I have some medical knowledge. This is a review of their medical and billing practices: Medically/dentally, they were great. I am medically phobic. This makes it extraordinarily difficult to get myself in the door at the doctor and dentist. They were very sensitive and helpful. I am grateful to them for that. They did an excellent job with my root canal, and I would use them again. Recently, I received a refund check over $200. No explanation, no apology, no interest (not as important, but still would have been the right thing to do). I emailed, and did not get a response, so I walked in the door. When you get service, they demand the money same day. It took them a year to refund my money - the response - COVID made them take a year to refund my money. Lame excuse. I respect their honesty for giving me my money back, but I am certainly going to question their billing practices next time, and how much I should pay up front.
