DO NOT EVER USE THIS PRACTICE. After they changed their ENTIRE STAFF last year, the staff made multiple critical mistakes on my husband's account including submitting a claim incorrectly to our insurance, and sending a bill to a COLLECTION AGENCY while they were simply waiting for a check from our insurance to arrive. I inquired clear explanations, but they completely ignored my multiple emails, so I filed a complaint to the BBB, which they also ignored. Their BBB rating is now B minus.
I like Dr. Barry and the dental assistants and hygienists. However, despite being a patient here for I think a little over a year now, I don't feel comfortable going back. First, I got a glued in lingual retainer on January 9. Three of the glued on attachments popped off on April 14. So a permanent retainer lasted about three months, and they were saying it was generous of them to only charge me to redo one of the attachments instead of all three. That already feels unfair, and they were evasive when I asked how long they are meant to last. If my insurance doesn't approve it, it will cost me over $100 for this. Then I asked for an itemized receipt of something that was just listed as "bill payment." I need this to determine if I can use my FSA to pay. The receptionist seemed frustrated I asked for help understanding my bill and said she didn't know what the bill was attached to. Eventually she said it was for an EOB adjustment, but she doesn't know what procedure the adjustment was for
The staff is always wonderful and follow up yo make sure you are doing well after. A great dentist
