The only reason I am giving one star is because I have to and the staff really are nice and compassionate. However my interaction with Dr. Jolivette started off okay but ended with a level of blatant condescension that left me with even more dental anxiety than I walked in with and in tears on my drive home. I already have years of dental trauma under my belt but I stuck out my appointment because I didn’t want my fear to win. I should have listened to that still small voice. After my exam she did recommend I go to the LSUSD for my care, because when you have limited coverage on your insurance and can’t afford the 3k+ in costs and she says to your face “your finances are not my responsibility” when you start panicking about what to do next you stay polite and you leave. The icing on the cake and what should have had me out of my chair and through the door immediately was hearing the two small children in another exam room screaming in terror.
