Manhattan Dental Design: Ernest Tchoi, DMD

Dr. Tchoi and his staff were excellent. Here's why: 1) When I arrived they were ready for me - no long wait. 2) The office is immaculate and has the newest technology to streamline the dental experience. 3) The whole staff was aware of my classic dental anxiety and worked hard to keep everything 'chill' 4) Dr. Tchoi and his staff explained everything 'in plain English' (nothing tech sounding that I wouldn't understand) and told me what they were doing and how it was going to feel, so no surprises. 5) The reason why I chose Dr. Tchoi's practice in the first place is because my spouse, who has multiple teeth challenges and needs pro care has used him for years and my daughter, an even more dentist-scaredy cat than I am ALSO continues to go to Dr. Tchoi. ~ The combination of all these assets made me feel more comfortable. I have further dental work that needs to be done, and I will be using Dr. Tchoi's practice to get it all done.

The dental office has listed my insurance as an accepted carrier on Zocdoc. After making my appointment online, it was pending confirmation which was confirmed a day later by the office. Today, I find out that they are out of network for my insurance. I was never informed that they do not accept my insurance and the office confirmed the appointment anyway. This clinic’s handling of patient appointment is unethical and fraudulent. I will be filing a formal complaint with the office to various healthcare agencies Response to dentist: So all of a sudden, my insurance is accepted? Did you tell your staff to change the status on Zocdoc after I left? Also, you’re saying your staff member at 12:30 pm stated my insurance IS accepted?? Right, nice try covering up your clinic’s negligence and attempt to falsify records. I have paper trails, screenshots, and telephone records to dispute your alleged claims. How did I snap at your staff? When they couldn’t explain why my insurance is not accepted

Best dentist and dental hygienists/staff ever! Very warm and informative environment :) I am always looking forward to my biannual checkups and also got my 4 wisdom teeth removed here (got appointments ASAP)! Thank you Dr. Tchoi and everyone ????
