They're insanely overpriced. I was quoted $750 to remove a permanent retainer (the wires were untwisting and moving my teeth) and two replacement retainers (top/bottom). I immediately left and called 2 other orthodontists, both who quoted at a fraction of Monarch's price. I ended up going to Imagine Orthodontics, and they did it all for $250. He even made it so my retainers will slightly shift my teeth to undo the damage. Avoid Monarch unless you like throwing money away.

Have always gone here and been pleased with the service. This time I waited 40 min to go back. Then waited additional 10 min for cleaning to start. Then I was told the X-ray machine was down and the doctor was behind. No exam or X-rays and had to schedule a week later for filling that had fallen out in November , when I called they were booked so I had already been waiting months. I took time out of my work day and just didn’t expect it to take so long and still need to go back another day. They just had an off day, I am guessing. It happens, sometimes circumstances are out of our control. Hopefully next weeks appointment will go smoother. ;)

Staff was friendly and the office is in a great location. When scheduling my appointment online it didn’t state I would have to come back for a cleaning appointment after my dental exam. When speaking with the scheduling person (third party), I was told to carve out at least two hours for my appointment due to them not knowing what kind of cleaning I would need. After my exam they walked me to the front and was told I would have to schedule a second appointment for a cleaning. Even though I had no cavity’s and healthy gums, so only a standard cleaning was needed. This is information that should be very clearly stated when booking an appointment or shared by staff when booking. The next available appointment for a cleaning was two weeks out from the date I was there, so I’d have to take even more time off work to come back. I’ve never had a previous dental office schedule that way, please update your policies online so new patients are aware. Our time is just as valuable as yours.
