I am extremely unhappy with the lack of service as a patient.

Dr. T and staff accommodate everyone of all races, shapes, and colors. I have had treatment on and off since 2007. Not only have they seen me grow, but they have also flourished throughout the years due to ensuring everyone is trained and more importantly that they're happy. Dr. T and staff take the time to welcome and train new employees. This is also extended to anyone looking to pursue a higher education as Dr. T and Kathleen (both alums from UCLA and UCSD) enjoy creating opportunities for the future leaders of the world by on boarding local high school students where they can expand the following skills: clerical , customer service, organization, time management, accounting, insurance processing, communication, computer software navigation.....the list can go on!! These skills will be especially useful for college/college applications and overall anyones future career choice as it has been for me considering I too was mentored in their establishment. My sun had an appointment at 4:30pm on Monday January 24th. We arrived at 4:15pm and checked in at 4:20pm. Soon after, all the clients scheduled in the same time block started to arrive. It’s now 5:20pm and I noticed every single client that arrived after me is now gone. Me and my sun are the ONLY Melanated people I’ve EVER seen in this office so it’s NO surprise ALL of the NON-melanated clients were seen first. This is BLATANT discrimination and to maintain integrity of their establishment they should make sure this act is that of an isolated one because in the future if we experience this same disrespect the response will indeed be elevated to a call of action. Do better. The Orthodontist had the nerve to call me in his office based on this review. During the conversation his prejudice was showing even more.
