Neighborhood Family Dentistry

The front desk lady was super sweet and the guy who took my X-rays. However the Hygienist who did my cleaning she was super aggressive!!!!! I never had so much anxiety until she started going at it with my cleaning. She did not take her time either she rushed the entire process, while making snarky remarks. Now I have anxiety as soon as someone touched my mouth..

Went to his place back in December as a first time client. My insurance had changed and my dentist (whom I LOVE and TRUST) no longer accepted my new insurance. I had a crowned tooth that broke in half, that was my biggest concern and why I booked the appointment, aside from needing a general cleaning. The hygienist was nice and gave a nice cleaning, we took X-rays and I waited. Dr Lisa came in for about 3 minutes glanced in my mouth and then told me that I had brown spots that they needed to remove and fill, silver fillings they needed to replace, and another tooth needs a root canal. Not a word about the broken tooth or extraction. I tell her my biggest concern is getting the broken tooth fixed and that surface fillings and the silver filings are not my concern right now (and frankly I find unnecessary as I have no issues, pain, sensitivity, etc.. as my dentist would say, why create a problem when there isn’t one). Had my daughters first dental exam here today. I was a bit nervous as my girl refused a nap today and was a tad wild. They were AWESOME with her. The nurse was amazing. Held her and played with her. Made her as comfortable as possible. I’ll definitely keep them as her primary dentist!
