Oakland - Alameda Endodontics

This is the place to get a root canal. Total pros. My dentist referred me after noon. I was there by 2:30, and Unes Nabipour saw me almost immediately. (After the standard ridiculous health questionnaire: has-your-father-ever-had-a-headache kind of thing.) Checked me out, and I was in for the root canal in less than 30 minutes, I think. The procedure was nearly painless, took about an hour: they were quick and efficient. They have all sorts of modern gadgets for visualizing and automating the procedure. The people were kind and efficient, obviously experienced, and even had some humor. They do this a lot. I waited three weeks to see if any ill effects arose before I wrote my review - and I report that I had two oral procedures that day (crown and root canal), and the root canal was much easier, and my pain went from pretty serious to zero. Other medical providers could take note.

This office is really good and I'm a pretty miserable dental patient, so that's saying a lot. I was in a lot of pain due to an infection in a molar and the very helpful and friendly receptionist, Marisela, was able to fit me in same-day for a dreaded root canal with Dr. Auerbach. The Oakland office is located on a quiet street on Pill Hill where lots of other dentist are. Inside the waiting area is relaxing and well tended to with a marine-life theme throughout the office that works! Reception, again, were lovely, prompt and helpful. Not too much paperwork. Sonia called me back to do a CT scan and X-rays. She was very friendly, gentle and put me right at ease. She was there for the entire appointment, assisting the Dr. and her energy and presence was grounding. She was a good listener and very attentive. Dr. Auerbach was super solid, I'm relieved to say! Dr. Auerbach and Sonia did a wonderful job with their patience, diligence, and kindness throughout the procedure. I felt comfortable and even took a nap during the root canal. I really trust this facility and the staff who work here! Super happy with the outcome!
