Fantastic Experience – VERY Highly Recommend a Visit to Dr. Orton! I have had three root canal procedures performed by Dr. Orton now; and each time he has made the experience more than pleasant. I rarely ever leave reviews online – however – given Dr. Orton’s kindness, his natural ability to put you at ease, his professionalism & obvious care for his patients’ well-being, would be remiss to not provide my feedback. I have feared the dentist my entire life – needless to say – I was a little more than reluctant & anxious about going in for my first root canal procedure with Dr. Orton. During my first visit, I was almost immediately put at ease & began to feel comfortable thanks to Dr. Orton’s natural friendliness & understanding of patients’ fears or anxieties. I say natural because, nothing is forced – Dr. Orton is genuinely a great guy & I’m extremely happy I was referred to his office for my root canal procedures. About as painless as a root canal can possibly be. I never took any painkillers afterwards. They used several techniques in my mouth, such as a dam and a kind of shim in my teeth to hold them open, that actually made the experience relatively relaxing.
I'm really surprised that Dr. Orton does not have more reviews! I was referred to Dr. Orton by a well-received oral surgeon. Dr. Orton is a very nice and skilled endodontist. He takes time to treat his patients and address questions patiently. His office is very nice and clean. His assistants are all polite. I heard lots of bad experience with root canals before I did it myself with Dr. Orton, including one from my husband! I was amazed that did not feel any pain my root canal with Dr. Orton and I did not need any pain medication. I could eat a salad 3 hours (even my mouth was still kind of numb) after my root canal. I highly recommend going to see Dr. Orton if you need a root canal.
