Premier Dental of Oakwood

I called to make an appointment. I told her I had MetLife dental, but I also had CareSource but my dentist only does MetLife he doesn’t do care source either, so I told her that and she kept saying well in case you can’t pay for it we won’t make an appointment for you, but I told her my dentist was booked up til October and MetLife cleaning are paid 100%. The receptionist well just in case you can’t pay and she was just very rude And just condescending and it’s like she seen me as a second class citizen. I wouldn’t recommend this dental practice they have a lot of biases at least the receptionist do!

I am very disappointed by the care I received. I went for a second opinion. My previous dentist did a horrible job on my teeth and I have been in pain ever since. The appointment itself was great, I felt listened to. Everyone seemed great. We had a game plan, and they said they would get my prior AUTH sent to my insurance company and someone would be in contact. Fast Forward to 2 weeks before my appointment. I was under the impression someone would call me. No big deal, so I called the office. The receptionist said she would resend it and then told me to also follow up. I did follow up several times with the insurance company and the said they didn't receive anything. I left at least 4 voicemails. They were not returned. I called daily leading up to my appointment, went to voicemail. I stopped leaving them because they weren't returned. The day before the appointment I still have not received any call, so I cancelled through the text messages, and still tried to get ahold of someone. T

Does great dental work but were not upfront about charges and also state that they take certain dental plans but don’t actually take them.
