great experience thus far. Ashley with the front desk customer service is kind and a calming presence. all the staff were kind. i appreciated how they put Netflix nature documentaries on in the background and I was able to listen to a podcast with my earbuds during my procedures. i live over 1 hour away, but I was willing to try this office because they were on the list of functional dentists on @askthedentist's website, Dr. Mark Burhenne, and I really trust his professional opinions and recommendations about dental healthcare / dentistry. my first appointment included x-rays, cleaning, and a preliminary checkup. i had no new cavities (THANK YOU to 2 years of Boka & Risewell hydroxyapatite toothpaste & floss!!!), but i knew something was off with my last filling from my previous dentist. Dr. Gomez also immediately correctly pegged me for a nail-biter because of the wear on my 2 front teeth. i never realized or knew that nail biting could have such an impact on teeth -- I just assumed t

I recently transitioned to Pure Smiles not too long ago from another dentist that I didn’t realize was not the best fit. So far, I had silver fillings replaced with white ones, I had an extraction on a tooth that went smoothly (my former dentist could not determine the issue fast enough regarding that tooth) and currently working on the crown process. I plan to get braces in the future. I love the fast paced and straightforwardness the staff provides. I am a very happy patient.

There is not enough space to say what a great place this is. After 2 Bouts with cancer ( radiation first then chemo second)Radiation destroyed my teeth..just before chemo my Onc Dr decided my teeth would be a danger during Chemo...had teeth YANKED AND BROKEN AT YALE MAXIOFACIAL...,I forgot to tell them I would need something to chew my food..It was like pulling teeth .lol..So I found Dr Gomez her two assistants and front desk hooked .me up with some KILLER CHOPPERS,,having no reference to my teeth, except a high school grad pic...She worked magic. .have me my 18 yo smile and I'm sixty seven.
