Dr. Smith and each one of his receptionists, dental assistants and dental hygienists are the best dental providers I have ever encountered-all in the same practice! I am a retired Professor and Scholar from UAB and have known Dr. Smith since he first began practicing. I taught the Dental Hygienist in his practice, who importantly has a Bachelor of Science Degree from UAB’s School of Dentistry. The members of the practice have the highest professional skills and use the most up-to-date technology. Most importantly, everyone in the practice has reached the pinnacle of success in their endeavors. A number of his employees have been with his practice for 30 years or more!

I just went here to get a cavity filled, a procedure I have never had before and one that I experienced lots of anxiety about before going in. Dr. Smith is an absolute legend, he used some type of vibrating wand on my gum so I not only felt no pain at all when getting a lidocaine injection, but the entire experience was completely painless and honestly fun courtesy of Dr. Smith's awesome personality (and taste in music). As someone who has anxiety about dental work I'm going to be seeing Dr. Smith for the rest of my life because he has really blown me away with his kindness and professionalism. Would recommend this establishment to anyone.
