Rueb Steve DDS

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Rueb for at least 30 years, or even more if you count the years we were seen by his father. After we retired in 2016, we thought we’d try out a dentist closer to our south KC home. Big mistake! We were used to honest-Abe Dr. Rueb. So we came back despite the long drive. Fortunately he’s a little younger than us, so we hope he does not retire for a long, long time.

I've had an amazing experience with Dr. Rueb! I avoided the dentist for years, and now that I've met Dr. Rueb, I wish I hadn't. Michelle, at the front desk, is extremely accommodating and helpful. She is always available to answer any questions, and she was able to assuage my initial fears. After meeting the dentist, I cannot speak highly enough of their office. Dr. Rueb is thorough and gentle. I feel more comfortable in his chair than I've ever felt at a dentist's office. He is accessible as well as knowledgeable. I had a filling and didn't feel remote disconfort. The entire experience at the office has been great. I've been several times now, and I'm yet to sit in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes. I can't speak highly enough about Michelle or Dr. Rueb. I've already recommended them to all my friends and family! Don't be nervous about calling, you're in good hands!

Dr. Rueb is super nice as is the receptionist, and you get in and out quick. My only complaint - which is forcing me to go back to my old dentist - is he uses a high-powered tooth cleaning machine, which sprays your whole face with gritty tooth cleaner. (And the rest of the time you're getting water all over your face and neck from the rinsing). A much messier process than my prior dentist, who uses a rubber device dipped in the cleaning substance. I'm afraid I'll have to go back to her :( .
