I was sooo glad they could fit me in for an emergency root canal! I had been in constant pain for the 3 day weekend. I usually get my dental work done at the Veterans Administration. I went there first and found out I needed a root canal but they wouldn’t be able to get me in for several weeks so they referred me to Dr Rudd. When Dr Rudd staff heard I was in constant pain they worked me in the same day!! The staff were very friendly and professional. Dr Rudd did a great job quickly elevating my pain. He has some tricks of the trade that makes the patient more comfortable! A normally traumatic procedure was much more comfortable than previous procedures I’ve had done elsewhere. I definitely recommend him and his staff!! If given the opportunity to have dental work done in the community I will definitely try him first. He is very patient and gentle!!

I had a pretty significant infection in an old root canal making my face swell up like crazy. I had called around to a few other Endodontic offices and the soonest appointment was over 2 weeks out. When I called Salt Lake Endodontics and told them about the infection and swelling they were able to get me in the following Monday first thing in the morning. I'm usually very nervous about new dentists due to a previous traumatizing experience but Dr. Rudd and his assistant, Christy did an amazing job. I really appreciated her calling the next day to check how I was I was doing.

Dr Rudd is a very well-trained and qualified Endodontist! Having spent time in the military as a dental tech, I know a little bit about dental practices. Dr. Rudd examined a painful molar in my mouth that had a root canal done elsewhere 30 years prior. It was crowned. He had sophisticated, up-to-date equipment that identified an abscess in a canal that was not treated in that tooth, which enabled him to correctly identify the issue. He saved my molar from extraction. The root canal he performed was not painful in the slightest and within a few hours from leaving his office I was eating dinner with no pain or complications. I give Dr. Rudd an A+ on his skill and professionalism. The office staff is exceptional as well; they were very helpful, friendly and professional. Thank you for a great experience.
