They are a great dental practice! I have a not so great history with dentists and Seattle smiles dental is really aware of my concerns. What ever needs I have are met and accommodated. All parts of my care plan are gone over with me and I get to work with the team to figure out what is the next step in my dental hygiene. Highly Recommend!
Very unpleasant experiences! Messed up multiple appointments and insurance information. One time even asked me to pay more money right after getting me numbed! I have been keeping doing what Dr. Amerest asked me to do for my teeth, despite her poor skill in making a simple filling turn into a painful and swelling aftermath for a few of my teeth for more than half a year. However, I still thought I should finish here. Even after consulting with other doctors that told me my filling could be wait, I still chose to follow her advice. But I just got an ambiguous letter that blamed me for not cooperating enough. I think the real problem here besides the not aced dental skill is with your new receptionist Adi, who is very unprofessional and inefficient that messes up my bills and appointments. I guess you could not blame her but instead blamed it on me. It seems that everything in your office turned into a mess after your receptionist Brittany left. It was definitely not a pleasure choosing
I had a very bad experience at Seattle Smiles Dental and would not recommend it for anyone with a disability. I have chronic illnesses and my vitals are often high after standing and walking. They took my blood pressure right when I came in and it was "high." I was never told what the reading was but was made to feel like I don't take care of my condition. I explained that I have a heart condition and that is normal. The dental hygienist talked about my high blood pressure for the entire appointment and that I needed to see a doctor to get it lowered. I kept trying to communicate that I am doing the best I can and am seeing multiple providers about my condition. The dental hygienist infantilized me by touching my shoulder and calling me "poor girl" multiple times and it made me very uncomfortable. Lastly, the dental hygienist told me that after my teeth cleaning, it would make my condition improve. That is simply false and inappropriate to say.
