I live on the east side of Tucson and I travel to Oro Valley just to see Dr John Yu. Dr Yu is an excellent clinician and is most definitely worth the drive to see him. I have received excellent dental care from Dr Yu and his staff each and every time I have needed treatment. I was able to get my crown placed the same day my tooth was prepared. This saves you from having to wear a provisional crown for a few weeks before getting the real crown placed. Today I had composite fillings placed . Dr Yu was on time for my appointment, gave painless anesthesia and skillfully placed three beautiful tooth-colored fillings. Having dental treatment is never a lot of fun, but I have to say this appointment was pretty pleasant. Karla, the hygienist, provides exceptional preventative dental care and is always very pleasant. Dr Yu's dental assistant Lola, is super sweet and very good at her job. They both work very well together and provide quality dental care. I highly recommend Dr Yu and his staff

I can't recommend Dr. Yu and Smile More Dental enough. I would give them 20 stars if I could. Smart, gentle, caring people at Smile More. If you are nervous about seeing a dentist or are looking for some place new, go here! You won't be disappointed.

The staff at SmileMore were wonderful. I would rate the staff and the hygienist a five. However, Dr. Fard has the worst bedside manner I have come across. She was very aggressive and abrasive to both myself and my husband. Her probing was brutal. I doubt she has been in practice long. I’ll go back to the office, but hoping the other dentist that practices there is much more reasonable and has a different approach.
