My dentist told me root canals have come a long way. She was right. Virtually painless procedure at SOMA Endodontics--not even local anesthetic needed, just Tylenol and Advil--and totally painless afterward with no need to take Tylenol at all. YMMV but I was pleasantly surprised.

Dr Horst and her team are incredible. I was so lucky to find them. After feeling extreme pain in one of my teeth on Friday, I was able to book an emergency appointment on Tuesday. They even called me Tuesday morning to get me in sooner. Dr. Horst diagnosed the issue and performed a root canal. The pain is gone. If you need an endodontist, this is the place to go.

I got a root canal at a different dentist years ago and it was incredibly painful. I was so traumatized from that experience that when I heard that I needed two more root canals recently, I was extremely stressed out. Dr. Horst performed both of the root canals flawlessly and they were both less painful (but a lot more uncomfortable obviously) than some cavities I took care of the other week. I have always been apprehensive about dentists because I didn't take care of my teeth as a kid and I've only ever had bad insurance and terrible dentists. Dr. Horst made the experience completely COVID safe and as pleasant as a root canal could possibly be. The services were also extremely affordable. The CT Scan was $165 out of pocket which is a good price, and I got a second CT Scan done at no additional cost. Both root canals were $20 each after using my insurance. For the quality of care I received I am immensely happy to have only paid $205. Thank you so much Dr. Horst for being the first goo
