Called ahead of time to double-check they were in network with my insurance, was told yes, so I booked an appointment. Now have a bill saying they're out of network and I have to pay out of pocket for what should have been totally covered services. Lied saying they never would have told me I was in network. I dont have a hearing problem, if that's what you had actually said when I originally called and literally gave you my insurance info, I wouldn't have booked the appointment right then with you. Shady liars. Also offered unsolicited cosmetic advice at the appt which was beyond rude. If I felt I had an issue, I'd ask. Felt like a huge money grab trying to make someone feel bad about something that really does not need to be changed.

While I am not the type to normally leave a review, I was compelled to do so after my last appointment. I had the worst dental cleaning of my life last week. The dental hygienist that provided my cleaning services was named Carly. I am unsure if she was new, but I had never worked with her before. Throughout the cleaning she poked and prodded my teeth and gums to the point that they were bleeding. She had to frequently suction the blood out of my mouth. When she flossed, the force she used caused the floss to frequently sliced into my gums to the extent that the floss was pink with my blood. There was a point where I had to ask her to pause before she could continue due to the pain. I have never experienced a cleaning like that. It was painful to open my mouth, to talk and to chew. Afterwards, I asked for a numbing gargle to ease the pain. I was told that they didn't have anything like that in the office, which I doubt. Last week, I made an urgent call to schedule an oral examination. Southview Dentistry was referred. The first available appointment was on Monday, to which I scheduled but asked if there was a cancellation to let me know and in the meantime, I'd most likely go to the E.R. After ending our call, the scheduler called back to inform the doctor would be able to see me on Friday (a week ago, today). My experience was amazing! I appreciate the care and concern everyone had for my issue... From the Scheduler, to my Hygienist to Dr. Michael - (I'm not including their names to maintain their privacy). Dr. Michael was intentional about my treatment and his expressed concern to ensure he provided the appropriate treatment was very much appreciated! As it would have it.. I had an allergic reaction to Arm & Hammer Advance White stain defense technology TOOTHPASTE! Lastly, my Hygienist was fantastic and thoughtful. I chose to have a cleaning, and she was very gentle!
