Starling Orthodontics

Noticed there's been some recent turnover in the more experienced ortho assistants. They have been replaced by new assistants with only a few months of experience. My child's progress seems to have slowed some with these news changes. I understand that everyone needs to gain experience in a field, but it would be more understandable at a clinic or school where the price of the work reflects the inexperience.

On April 25th, 2023, I visited Dr. Starling's office for the first time to consult with him about the potential need for braces prior to jaw surgery. I had braces several years ago, and while my smile is not significantly problematic, my oral surgeon and I were curious if braces would enhance the results of the jaw surgery. I had visited another orthodontist before Dr. Starling, but the warmth and genuine care I instantly experienced in his office was unmatched. Dr. Starling's staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and compassionate. Following the completion of 3D and other dental imaging by the lovely Connie, I met with Dr. Starling. He attentively listened to my concerns and desires for my orthodontic treatment and jaw surgery, sharing his expertise and knowledge in the process. This would be my second time getting braces from Dr Starling. The first time was great but the second time around was absolutely terrible. My teeth were not straightened correctly and when I brought up my concerns he told me they were minor absolutely disregarding my concerns. Only to place a permanent retainer on the back of my top teeth with globs of glue hitting my lower teeth and sending me on as if it didn’t matter even when I complained. I’ll never go back.
