I have been going to Sterling dental for at least 4+ years. Dr Smith Is a gentle dentist, he is very considerate of his patients, and very caring and does excellent work! Phyllis the hygienist does my cleanings and does an excellent job. I'm very fortunate to have such good care Tuank you Sofia and DR Smith

July 5, 2023, was my semiannual visit and Phyllis performed her usual complete and professional cleaning. She makes her informative recommendations and then has Dr. Smith check me out. This is very important for me because of my tonsillar cancer in 2015 and aortic valve replacement in 2022. I highly recommend this team of dental care professionals who also have a skilled administrative staff to handle all you billing, insurance and appointment queries. A five-star team serving you!

I had an emergency dental situation last week. I woke up in severe pain, and had called many dentists to see if they could fit me in. Most of them said no, and one said it was a 50/50 chance that they would be able to fit me in. I called Dr. Smiths office, and they were empathetic to my situation, and squeezed me in. Dr. Smith diagnosed my problem and thoroughly explained all of my options. He was forthcoming, and told me with honesty what he felt was the best decision for my treatment. He then sent in staff with paperwork to show me my treatment plan, length of time to complete, and payments. While he was working on my mouth, I had minimal pain with minimal drugs. I have never had such a knowledgeable, gentle dentist, who actually fixed a problem. I have been to many dentist over the years in Sarasota, some of the “best” so to speak. I have always been left disappointed. Dr. Smith, in my opinion, has surpassed them all. The staff are also wonderful, competent and helpful.
