Tend Dental Midtown

This was my second visit to Tend at Midtown Atlanta. When you enter, You have the option of brushing your teeth in the brushery with gifted toothbrush and toothpaste in a Tend theme colored convenience bag. (I'm going to put mine in my glove compartment) In the examination room, the TV was set to a program of my choice that I pre-selected in the app. My cleaning was with Antoinette. She did an excellent job, and I appreciated her personalized recommendations for my oral care. Once she finished the cleaning, she made the appointment for my next cleaning. My normal dentist Dr. Donna Wilkerson had moved to the Buckhead office, so I saw Dr Amanda Udunka. Before she did her exam, Dr. Udunka reviewed My previous X-rays on the TV so that I could understand what she was referring to. During her exam she may recommendations to put in the notes so that Dr Wilkerson could see them the next time I meet with her. Tend made it easy to book an appointment and change if need be which has always been the biggest issue for me with dentists. I booked a new appointment less than 1wk out. The service was top notch and one of the best cleanings I’ve ever had! Highly recommend

I went in for an emergency visit three days ago for an extraction. Before I get into the meat of things, I want to highlight that the appointment booking system online is seamless (I booked my appointment about two hours prior) and the people at the front desk were all a joy. The benefits coordinator was very through and to the point and the extraction was painless + the aesthetics of the office is beautiful. However, my post-op experience has not been pleasant. My provider, Dr. K, was very thorough in explaining that the tooth was a goner (it broke at the gum line) and in explaining my options post-extraction, with the bridge and crown. The extraction was done in less than five minutes and I was number very well. Of course there was tugging and pulling but I did not feel the aftermath until the numbing had subsided. Before leaving, the Dr. told me to take Tylenol and add Ibuprofen if Tylenol was not strong enough. I have had one extraction before and was prescribed pain medication and
