Tend Williamsburg

Number 1 reason I’ve been going here for the past 5 years is they will let you know how much each procedure costs before doing any work and they will double confirm your insurance and what is covered to make sure you can afford everything each visit. Best option for a dentist in NYC hands down.

The place is very clean! However the photos on the website are very misleading. You do not get a private room when you go for a cleaning. The whole process felt very industrial and not personal. You are taken to an area where the chairs are separated by partitions. You can hear everyone else in there getting cleanings and meeting with hygienists. The website does not show this. In addition, the X-Rays are done with a small portable machine, not one of those larger ones attached to the wall. It all felt rather cheap and the X-rays were not of high quality. Anyway, I like that the place is bright and clean, but it all feels like Tend wants to be the Starbucks of dentistry. To the owner: In response to your response, which is to call, I honestly am not sure what you can do. Perhaps build private rooms for clients and install more sophisticated X-Ray machines would be a start, but that would be costly.

A seamless, comfortable, informative experience. Coming from a history of disappointing and frustrating dentist office visits, I was pleased with how patient and transparent Tend Williamsburg office was with me. They checked my insurance upon arrival and helped me with a scope of dental work. Looking forward to my future appointments and being treated professionally.
