You are only considering this place because you're poor. These are not dentists. They are students, and they are learning on you. These procedures take much longer than a standard dental office, and you will experience trauma from holding your jaw open for hours. I have had long-term damage from a mistake made by grad students here. There is no legal recourse for this because they have you sign away all of that. Just pay the dentist folks... it's not worth being a guinea pig that students can practice on.

Each time I’ve been here the students & staff have been wonderful. I have recommended them several times to people in need of emergency care. And they’ve always had a positive experience, so I’m sending someone next week since it’s Friday night.

I wanted to express my appreciation and deep gratitude for OSUs emergancy dental clinic. This was the only place that would see me for my emergancy dental issue/pain. I have a family dentist but when I called saying my tooth cracked off completely and I'm in unbearable pain that no pain reliever was helping, they said they could get me in a WEEK from the day I called!! I went to the ER only to get sent home with Oragel, called multiple places and either didn't take caresource or was cash only. OSU emergency dental clinic was my only hope to get some relieve to the worst pain I ever felt for 4 days straight. The student I had did a better job than any dentist I ever been too! I'm so grateful that OSU provides this service and was a life saver for me!!
