I have several issues that need to be addressed (haven't been to a dentist in five years), and Dr. Acierno and his staff did a wonderful job in explaining what the issues were and what needed to be done to correct those issues. I ended up having a root canal. Everything went well and I will be going back in January for the next procedure. Dr. Acierno was caring and empathetic to my fears and was able to patiently talk me through what needed to be done. I would recommend Dr. Acierno to family and friends. This is an excellent practice with caring staff.

I am a 100% disabled veteran and was sent to this guy and first conversation he looked uninterested as if I was a bother to be seen. He reluctantly agreed to start one out of two root canals ordered by the VA and went to work. Wore a mask but kept coughing next to my open mouth. As he was packing the tooth, he would continuously put his whole body weight on my lower jaw with his finger hooking my throat even when I physically removed his hand, he kept gripping my jaw while very dramatic and roughly shoving the material in my tooth. At the end he told me he was done and my mouth was numb, he scheduled another appointment and I went on my way. As I got home I find a huge hole in the top where he was working and the gauze still packed in the tooth leaving it exposed and every time I breath I feel pain. I’ve had a root canal before, but never have I had a more negative experience with a healthcare provider in my life.

Dr. Acierno did a magnificent job on my husband’s root canal! My husband has had many terrible experiences with dentists that led to him putting off his dental care. Dr. Acierno made him feel welcome and well cared for. He had a pretty nasty root canal, and he didn’t feel a thing! The assistants and receptionists were very kind and welcoming as well. One of the best experiences we’ve had at a dental office by far. We thank you very much for your commitment to excellence.
